Bovine mastitis of a milch animal causes massive harm to milk industry. Somatic cell count (SCC) is cause of concern and diagnostic tool to detect mastitis, as cow’s immune system increases SCC to fight with both subclinical mastitis and clinical mastitis. This results in decrease in quality and quantity of milk. Milks electrical conductivity could be a quick test for examining milk to detect subclinical mastitis. In this paper a low cost subclinical mastitis detector circuit for examining quality of raw milk based on squarewave excitation is proposed. Subclinical mastitis can be detected by testing electrical conductivity of milk and analysing with standard reading. Internet of things (IoT) is used for monitoring the individual animal reading over the internet and to provide treatment accordingly. Also we can monitor severity of spreading of disease in different geographical regions.
